What's Playing? is a simplified playback overlay for the Music App - if you just want to know what you're listening to at a glance, What's Playing? will tell you.
Let's say you're listening to a random playlist in Music - in the car, for example - and hear something you've not heard recently. You want to find out who is singing...
What's Playing? shows you that info in real time, and in big enough text to read at a glance, meaning you don't get distracted, or crash the car!
Want to skip to the next track? Just Swipe Right. How about just tapping the screen to pause or play the song? Using two fingers to scan through the song on fast-forward/rewind? Or, on iPhone 6S, using 3D Touch to see what album the song is on?
Choose from different color schemes, including night-time driving.
What's Playing? - for when you just want to know who's playing what - quickly, easily, and WITHOUT CRASHING THE CAR!
NOTE: What's Playing? only works with the Music App and will not work for non-Music sources such as Spotify, Bandcamp, Tidal, etc.
